Delightful Deli's and Restaurants of deliciousness

I love food! And I love sharing it with friends and guests who join a Whimsical Tour. There are so many delightful new (and old) places to enjoy in Plymouth, I thought I'd share a few of them with you. The past few weeks have been adorned with sunshine and eating and drinking al fresco has been the order of the day.

I've been lucky enough to share an absolutely delicious meal with dear friends at HONKEY TONK WINE LIBRARY at 2, NORTH EAST QUAY where we had such a friendly welcome and a simply delicious sharing platter served with the most yummy bread and a glass or two of chilled, smooth, bubbly Prosecco ...

Not long after that I was at THE GREEDY GOOSE with Girls on Tour ( a lovely group of ladies on a three day tour of Plymouth and Dartmouth) in the PRYSTEN HOUSE, FINEWELL STREET where we had a set menu of exquisite-ness, sat in the courtyard, surrounded by stunning architecture before heading to the Theatre Royal to see Kinky Boots!

BARBICAN BOTANICALS (New Street) has the cutest garden to sit and while away the time drinking one (or two) of their astonishing array of small batch gins and I am always thrilled when I take my guests there and they just stand, wide-eyed and grinning and the displays of gin ... it is, to adults, like an old fashioned sweet shop would be to children - totally mesmerising! The HUTONG CAFE (160 Cremyll Street) was the place to be last Friday night when the Gin was flowing (Barbican Botanicals Gin) and live music played while we chatted and supped and generally enjoyed!

I wonder where I'll be wandering to next ...
