Christmas: Oh Christmas Tree ... (and a few gnomes!)
Updated: Dec 3, 2019
The countdown to Christmas has begun and with 22 sleeps until the BIG event, the days are flying by, faster than a speeding rocket! (My son is really into SpaceX)
It's only just December but already the glittery decorations, twinkling lights and Christmas trees of every shape, size (and colour!) have centre place in restaurants and eateries around the city. Stylists have spent months thinking about this years trends ... do you remember the 'black' trees one year? From the minimalist Nordic sticks adorned with select bijou decorations hanging flat on a bare white wall, to the tallest living Christmas Tree in the UK planted in 1890 and still going strong at 33m high! What will your tree be like??
Classic baubles and tinsel, Traditional reds and golds, Calm, stylish whites or Nordic rustic minimalism; on-trend navy and gold, tartan, turquoise, pink and every colour of the rainbow all have one thing in common. They symbolise Christmas! Whether you're religious or not it's a time to be thankful, think of others, share time together, and eat rather too much yummy food.
Perhaps you're looking for a gift? How about booking a bespoke Whimsical Tour for your loved one ... Do get in touch because I'd love to organise something special for you. My weekends are getting booked up but there's always room to squeeze a Whimsical Tour in.
